MEDIC Regional Blood Center is gearing up for the first ever Save Our Summer campaign. The promotion will launch on May 1st and end on August 31st. Community members can participate by donating more than one time during the summer months and every person donating multiple times will be entered to win a $1000 gift card for a cruise.

“We see a drop in inventory during the summer months due to travel and summer schedules,” said Director of Marketing & Donor Recruitment Kristy Altman. “This fun campaign is encouraging our donors to visit us more than once for a chance to win a great prize or one of several smaller prizes.” To participate, donors can pick up a passport at any MEDIC center or blood drive and get the passport stamped when they donate. During this special promotion, donors will receive a MEDIC clear plastic bag that will be perfect for sports events at the University of Tennessee or to use at the pool, lake or beach. Each month, MEDIC will raffle off a special prize to anyone who donated during that time. All donors who donate at least twice are eligible to win. The number of donations does not equal more entries for the prize drawing
