Submission Guidelines

Formats & Specs: Designs must be submitted as a .png, pdf, or vector file.

Deadlines: Submissions are open from August 24 to September 28. All entries must be received by an exact date. Late entries are automatically rejected.

Judging will be anonymous. Names or schools will not be tied to the design during the voting process. Artists are allowed to campaign for their own designs.

Designs must include references to blood donation. Must include MEDIC logo. Must include shirt color. See MEDIC’s Style Guide.

They cannot contain copyrighted characters, slogans, or logos.

Only one design per student is permitted.

AI designs are not permitted.

The artist reserves ownership of all copyrights in the works of visual art submitted and grants MEDIC Regional Blood Center a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, sub-licensable license to: 

  1. Reproduce, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works from, and use said art and associated textual description (in whole or in part) in print, electronic, online, and all media now known or hereafter developed for any purpose, including but not limited to MEDIC publications, website, and social media, the and other promotional and advertising material in support of MEDIC’S non-profit objective of providing blood to service area hospitals. 
  2.  Modify the art for any reason without prior or additional consent.
  3.  Use the artist’s name with reference to the artwork.

MEDIC reserves the right to reject any submission without showing cause.

The winner will be given no more than 10 shirts without requiring a blood donation.

The winner of the contest will receive a $500 Tango e-gift card. Must provide a valid email.
