MEDIC Regional Blood Center is teaming up with Bruster’s Ice Cream to save lives in East Tennessee. Everyone who donates blood at a MEDIC blood drive on Monday, June 29th or Tuesday, June 30th will receive a coupon for a free pint of Bruster’s Ice Cream.With temperatures over 90º for much of the past two weeks, this offer couldn’t come at a better time for donors – or for patients at local hospitals. For the past week, MEDIC has not been able to fulfill every order from our local hospitals due to the short supply of blood. All blood types are currently needed.
